Cleaning eyeglasses
Cleanse the whole parts of the eyeglasses with soap water. Dry off using a flanel cloth. To polish the glasses till it shines and last longer, rub the glasses with lime juice. Rinse off, then wipe dry with a clean cloth or tissue.

Clearing off scratches
To clear scratches off glasses or on watch faces, dab toothpaste with a tissue and use it to rub scratches off surfaces. Cleanse off toothpaste with a dry cloth or towel.

Cleansing Silver
Mix lime juice and salt in a basin of warm water. Put all the silver in and wash them in the basin. They will be shinier.

Water in the watch
Place the non water-resistant watch in the rice container overnight. The mist will dry off in the morning.

Cleaning gold ornaments
(1) Soak gold accessories in warm water for 1 hour. Use a soft toothbrush with toothpaste to brush off dirt. Wash, then soak soak in tea for a few hours. Let dry.
(2) Soak in tamarind water (tamarind pulp rubbed in water) and leave overnight. Brush off dirt with a toothbrush and toothpaste in the morning.

Maintaining sharp shaver blades
Wipe the blades with hair oil or cream after every use to maintain its sharpness.
